The 2.2 - Renewal Fluid is an advanced retinol serum formulated with 1.5% retinol and 10% azelaic acid. Designed to support the skin’s natural cellular turnover process, this formula helps renew the skin while targeting multiple concerns at once - including breakouts, pigmentation, uneven texture, congestion, dullness, and signs of ageing.

Retinol is one of the most studied ingredients in skincare and is known for its ability to support skin renewal and long-term skin health. Azelaic acid works alongside it to help calm inflammation, support breakouts and pigmentation, and improve overall skin clarity.

The 2.2 - Renewal Fluid forms part of the Smash Set - our simplified skincare system designed to work together and support long-term skin balance.

This formula is recommended for users who have already completed a full bottle of the 2.1 - Renewal Fluid and whose skin has built up a good tolerance to retinol. Stronger does not always mean better - skin tolerance and consistency matter most.

Not pregnancy safe. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding (or very sensitive), we recommend using the 2.3 - Renewal Fluid | Preggy instead.

How To Use

Morning Routine

1. Do not use in your morning routine.
2. Always apply 4.0 SPF 30+ Sunscreen during the daytime when using retinol products.

Evening Routine

1. Apply after cleansing.
2. Start by using 2 nights per week for 2-3 weeks.
3. Increase to 3 nights per week for 2-3 weeks if your skin is tolerating it well.
4. You may then increase to nightly use if tolerated.
5. Follow with 3.0 Antioxidant Moisturiser.

If you are sensitive - use after your moisturiser at night to buffer. (Avoid use on treatment nights. Full treatment guides are included with treatment products.)
